How to Request a Temporary License Key Code for Millbox:

When you launch MillBox without a Dongle installed, it will notify you that no Dongle was found.

Here you can click on REQUEST LICENSE:

Clicking "Request License" will open a License Request form.

This window will display your Installation Code and a Temporary Key Request Form.

Copy your 20-Digit Installation Code  and along with the following information, email with “Temporary License Key” in the Subject Line containing the following information to support.americas@cimsystem.com (Americas) support@cimsystem.com(International)

Information must be included when requesting a Temporary License.

• 20-Digit Installation Code:
• Reseller Name:
• Lab Name:
• Contact Information (Skype ID, Telephone Number, Email, Etc.):
• Reason for Temporary Code:

You should receive a response via email within the next 12-24 hours during regular business hours with a Temporary Key that you can enter into the software.

You can close out of the License Request window and click on the “Insert Code” Button.

You’ll see another window asking for the Activation Code. Copy this from the email from CIMsystem and paste the 18-Digit into the Activation Code Field then click OK.

You will then be asked to restart MillBox. Clicking "OK" will close MillBox.

If this is the first time installing MillBox, re-opening MillBox will present you with a Registration Form:

**This form requires you to fill out all of the information in its entirety. The license will not operate if part of the data is wrong.

If any information is missed / missing you will receive a warning on what information needs to be filled out.

Once all the information has been filled out and you've put an "X" in the box for "I accept", which explains an internet connection will be used to check the validity of the temporary license.

Click Register.

Once you hit Register, you must have a internet connection as the software will do a one time server check to test the validity of the license that has been provided.

If you'd like to see how many days you have left on your temporary license, you can follow the same instructions as found in the MillBox - Find your Dongle Number / License Information Solution. The number of days left will always be listed under the "License:" Field.

If you are presently operating on a Temporary license, as seen in the picture above, there will be a number indicating how many days are remaining on your license. If the dongle is inserted and recognized, the License field will display a four-digit number that corresponds to the number on the physical dongle. You'll also see a year in parentheses to the right of the Dongle Number, indicating which MILLBOX Software version the client bought.
