Cylinder / Drilling Axis Detection

Cylinder.png

This functionality enables you to manually establish a drilling axis within a cylindrical hole, such as those found in an Abutment or Screw Retained Crown, like a screw access channel. The Drilling Axis is depicted as a green line visible within the hole. If the system doesn't automatically identify this axis, you have the option to manually identify and specify this region.

Once chosen, you can easily click inside the hole to automatically determine the required diameter and depth for the drilling process.

NOTE: It is recommended that you select a portion of the access channel where the cylinder is most complete. Otherwise the orientation of the drilling axis may take additional time to detect and / or may be inaccurate.
