Delete Curves or Caps / Surfaces
In the event that a curve is not detected properly, these can be deleted / removed by using this tool.
This feature can also be used to remove temporary surfaces that may not be needed.
To use this function, simply click the delete curves & cylinder caps button and click on the curve or surface that you want to remove.
After the curve is removed, you can try auto detecting the curve again to see if you can get a better result or manually place your curve instead.
SEE:
- MARGIN LINE DETECTION
- MANUALLY DRAW MARGIN LINES
- If you have a surface that you wish to delete (IE: Temporary cap, etc.), you can simply click on the surface to remove it:
NOTE: As a tip for using this tool, sometimes it is difficult to see the curve / surface due to the part or another visual layer being turned on. When the tool is activated, you can select it a 2nd or 3rd time to turn certain visual layers on / off:
- 2nd Activation - Visual: Curves Only
- 3rd Activation - Visual: Surfaces and Curves Only
