Engraving Settings
- Adjust the default text size (height) in millimeters (mm)
- You can still adjust this on-the-fly when placing engraving on the part - SEE: Engraving
- Enable Duplicate Engraving - This allows MillBox to have multiples of the same engraving code which is useful when engraving is being used to indicate shades for coloring.
- Automatically Set Engraving during STL Import- This feature allows you to setup an automatic engraving code to be placed on the part according to one of three options:
- Assign incremental code based on the previous engraving code used - This is the default setting and is more useful for counting up numerically.
- Assign code accoding to the STL File Name - This will assume the full STL file name as the automatic engraving code.
- Assign code according to the STL File Name (After the last underscore)- This will read the STL file name and only consider the portion of the text that PROceeds the underscore(_) in the file name. This text will be used as the automatic engraving code.
- An example of how this could be useful is to setup your CAD to output the Shade at the end of the filename using the underscore as a separator. MillBox in this case will automatically be setup to engrave the shade codes of all of your cases onto the part directly during import.
- Insert STL file name starting before the first '_' char -This will read the STL file name and only consider the portion of the text that PREceeds the underscore(_) in the file name. This text will be used as the automatic engraving code.
