Job Management

Clicking on the Job Management icon will expand all Current Job Information from the left pane:

Machine, tool, and material choices, along with the list of imported restorations, will appear in the top left corner of the CAM interface for the current job.

Explore the options available in this area using the Table of Contents.

Multiproject Calculation (Multi-Job)

Multiproject / Multi-job Calculations allows you to select multiple Jobs for bulk processing / calculation.

If you have strategy options that appear during calculation, the default preset options will be used. A calculation report of the jobs will be shown when the toolpath calculation is finished.

NOTE: For machines that utilize pallets (disc changers): the pallet code must be pre-set and associated to a material.

You can set the pallet configuration in the job, but if you want to use a new disc or blank, you should stop the calculation once this value is set.

Change Machine / Toolset

This function allows the user to switch between machines or tool sets. It can, however, only be accessed while a Nesting Job is running:

New Job

New Job will close your current Job and start a new one, resetting the workflow.

Open Job

The Open Job function in MillBox allows you to browse previous jobs.

When you select this menu, a window will open that displays all previously worked on Jobs which you can preview and then load into MillBox:

NOTE: Additional Job Search and Filtering functions are accessible with the MillBox Comfort add-on or the MillBox Standard Edition, which includes comfort features out of the box.

Save Job

This button will save the progress of Job that is currently open within MillBox.

Save Job As

This button lets you name or rename your job while saving. This is useful for creating copies with different names for testing or troubleshooting. To manually name your jobs, adjust settings in the Configuration Menu.

Recent Jobs

You will notice a list of "recent" jobs that have recently been worked on in MillBox.
When the mouse is hovered over a Recent Job, a preview of the job will appear on the screen to help you quickly identify if this is the job you're looking for.
