Show Residual Material

After the Tool Path Calculation has completed, MillBox will display the residual material that may be left behind based on the part and the Milling Options selected during the Start Mill Step.

This will be displayed directly on the part and is color coded by the amount of residual material that will be left behind. This tool can be useful - For Example: as we can see in the image below, the secondary anatomy is too narrow and deep for the 1mm tool to reach inside of - we may want to re-calculate the job choosing to include the 0.3mm tool to be able to properly mill these narrow areas out.

In the simulation tool, we can choose to toggle the display between the following modes:

ONLY THE RESIDUAL MATERIAL

STL ONLY

RESIDUAL MATERIAL + STL
