How to Re-use the Glass Ceramic, Vita Enamic, Lava Ultimate and Composite Resin Blocks
To begin, open the blocks/disks manager, click CRTL + D from the main screen of MillBox and select the Blocks tab.
Look for the desired block that you wish to save in order to reuse it the next time.
- Click to highlight the entire row.
- Click on Edit
For this example, we will use GC - IPS e.max CAD with the size of 48,14.5,14.5
Once you click Edit, you'll be presented with the Block Configuration screen:
- Scroll down and find Save used blanks after toolpath generation
- Click in the checkbox below and hit Okay.
You'll be taken back to the configuration screen.
Click Save
Once you click save a dialogue box will appear, asking to restart MillBox for the changes to take effect.
Click yes.
MillBox will close and restart.
Using the Re-usable Block.
Now that you have edited the block to be able to be re-used, you can now go through the normal workflow and import objects within the block.
Once calculated, the block will stay in the Reusable Blocks folder for later use.
Now when selecting a Stock Selection, you will see under USED BLANKS you have an option.
Clicking the number under used blanks will bring up the Reusable Blocks folder:
By highlighting our selection we can get a preview of the used blank.
By double clicking the file or highlighting and clicking the checkmark, this will import that stock into our project.
Allowing us to reuse the same block again.
