MillBox - ReUsable Stock

This article will walk you through being able to use the Reusable Stock feature.
When you have previously milled stock that needs to be edited, saved or imported, you can use the Reusable Stock feature.
First bring up the stock that you want to edit.
You can do this by Clicking on Job Management and opening a previous job
Or you can start a New Job and for your Stock Selection choose your previously Used Disc to edit.
Once we have our stock open, clicking on Tools and choosing Reusable Stock will bring up several options:
Remove Milled Pockets~ This will allow you to remove milled pockets on used stock where the pockets haven't been milled on the physical stock.
Click on "Remove Milled Pockets" and then click on the pocket you want removed. The pocket will be highlight it in Red.
Click Remove to complete the operation.
Do this for each pocket you would like to remove.
Once removed you will want to now Manually Save Stock File.
Manually Save Stock File ~ This will allow you to save your current stock.
Clicking on Manually Save Stock File, will bring up the default MillBox Reusable Blocks folder on your local drive.
You can name and save the stock within this folder.
You can also, change the file path from this location.
Manually Import Stock File ~ This will allow you import a stock file into MillBox.
- MillBox can import *.blk, .block, .bmp, and *.jpg files.
- MillBox will allow you to sort / save via Disc Size, so you can save your disc in the appropriate folder or create a new one.
Rotate Stock Orientation in the Fixture ~ This feature will allow you to rotate the stock within the fixture to match what the physical stock is in the machine.
Default is set to 90° with each click of the arrow, but this can changed by replacing 90 with a new number in the box field
By clicking on the arrow, depended on how it is to be matched up with the physical disc, you'll be able to rotate the stock.
If you have an old project and want to change / edit the thickness of the disc.
Open the old project
Change the Disc size by selecting STOCK SELECTION and choosing a new stock
This will prompt MillBox to ask if you want to Auto Nest the object(s) within this new disc size.
Choosing the "X" will keep all object as they are, already within the stock.
If you click the checkmark this may rearrange the objects within the Disc, as MillBox will auto nest these parts.
If necessary, you can click the undo button to reset them to their original positions.
Once you have the adjusted thickness for your stock, you can now just manually save that stock file. TOOLS > RESUABLE STOCK > MANUALLY SAVE STOCK FILE.
