In this article we are going to walk you through the steps to activate or update your MillBox dongle / license.

A MillBox Dongle

An Activation / Update File (.LKD)

NOTE: Do not rename the Activation / Update File (.LKD), the file needs to follow the name convention in order for it to activate the dongle.

1. Plug the Dongle at the computer where MillBox is installed (Make sure the dongle has a red LED light on)

2. Right click on the MillBox desktop shortcut and select "Open file location"

3. Go back one folder to access the main MillBox folder

4. Copy/Paste or Drag/Drop the activation file at this main folder (Example: C:\MillBox_CIM)

5. Open MillBox. After that your Dongle is activated!

In order to confirm the activation/update was done properly, open MillBox and right click the title bar and go to support.

You should now see your dongle number at this screen with the year your dongle is able to run.
